This year Kode Art Museums and Composer Homespresents a unique pop-up exhibition titled “A Touch of Metal” in connection with Beyond the Gates.
The exhibition is based on a dialogue between works in the collection and excerpts from Metal songs. The lyrics are written by a selection of bands playing at Beyond the Gates in 2024 and 2025.Both art and music are stripped naked. Without artist names, titles, band names or music the works speak their own language.
